SRA comes to Keele
2 February 2010
KUBE Radio has teamed up with the Student Radio Association to host a National Training Day within the Chancellors Building at Keele University on Saturday 6th February.
This will involve industry figures from Radio 1, 1Xtra and other stations coming to Keele!! Greg James' 'Producer Neil' Sloane from Radio 1 will be attending as well as a yet unconfirmed presenter and producer from Radio1/Xtra. Tommy Sandhu from BBC Asian Network, and the Programme Controller Neil Greenslade from Galaxy FM and Choice FM will also be at the event to provide training and information about the industry, as well as many others.
This training day will give KUBE members an unique opportunity to meet some huge industry names, ask questions and hear invaluable advice on many aspects of radio, such as presenting styles and production techniques. Students will also get the chance to meet other members of student radio stations who will be travelling to Keele for this amazing day.
The day will run from 12 midday until 6.30pm and will give all delegates the chance to win a trip to Radio 1 HQ, as well as the opportunity to feature on radio alongside massive DJs and over 2 million listeners! If that's not enough, there is also going to be free Domino's Pizza!
