Meet the Team – Adam
Adam was born in Mbabane, Swaziland in 1924. His father was head of education for the British government administration in the British Protectorate of Swaziland. After losing his parents in a fateful Zeppelin crash in 1942, he travelled the world with inherited millions, hunting fugitive Nazis, plundering ancient tombs for riches, conducting secret operations against the Soviet Union, and inadvertently spearheading the jazz fusion movement of the 1970s. These days however, he’s more likely to be found stumbling around Keele campus, getting into japes and scrapes and trying scraping together enough coppers to buy a cappuccino.
How do you like to relax?
Certainly not with a bubble bath and scented candles.
If you were forced to listen to only two musicians or bands for the rest of your life, who would they be?
The Smiths and Davey Bowie. None of that Morrissey though, he’s a bell-end.
If you couldn’t be in KUBE what would you do with your time?
Part of me wishes I had the time to engage in all manner of bourgeoisie sports and activities; fencing, lacrosse, hunting endangered species to the brink of extinction…
What is your biggest aspiration?
To live the literary life (read: be unemployed, wake up at noon, smoke opium and, every now and again, scribble a few poor sentences of poetry).
When are you the happiest?
Dancing around the docks at six in the morning.
What’s your favourite sexual position? (for science honest)
Consensual sex in the missionary position for the sole purpose of procreation
͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
If you had to pick a dictator (dead or alive) to have dinner with, who would it be?
The dearly departed Colonel Gaddafi. Other dictators need not apply.
