Nero ‘The Thrill’
Back with another track, from their forthcoming album ‘Between II Worlds’, dubstep artist Nero has taken another twist with the release of The Thrill. After the huge success of the London-based trio’s debut album ‘Welcome Reality’ I’m pretty excited to what direction Nero takes with ‘Between II Worlds’.
The dark, almost aggressive bass of lead single ‘Satisfy’ (released over 11 months ago) is nowhere in earshot this time round. ‘The Thrill’ has lighter, merrier bounciness to it that reminds me much of Noisia or even Savant, while still be completely recognisable as a Nero track. The vocals are like that of one of Nero’s most popular songs ‘Promises’, light, catchy and fit perfectly with all the musical progressions.
‘The Thrill’ is happy-go-lucky with cheeky tones that brought a smile to my face, but sadly not the thrill I was after when it comes to Nero. I’m sure this one will be a chart topper with its happy dance-ability.
